How to Get Involved

Volunteer your time

The Friends are looking for board members and volunteers to assist with our events and projects. If you have a couple of hours to spare each month, please consider how you could help support this beautiful park and lake.

Monthly Meetings

Friends of Mary Lake board meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 6:00 pm. Meetings last about one hour.  We usually meet at the picnic table at Mary Lake but sometimes, due to  weather or smoke, we meet elsewhere. Give us a call at (530) 220-2203 and we will tell you  where you can find us!

Yearly Cleanup Events

The Friends of Mary Lake hosts an annual park cleanup. The emphasis of  the cleanup is removal of invasive plant species, as well as planting native trees and shrubs around the lake.

Financially Support the Friends of Mary Lake

Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals for improving Mary Lake.  Your generous donation will fund our mission to maintain, improve, and beautify Mary Lake Park for the benefit of all citizens and wildlife.

Where do the donations go?

Fundraisers, donations from the public, and grants are the Friends of Mary Lake sole support.

The Friends uses these funds to preserve and beautify the lake and park for tomorrow.

All donations are tax-deductible under IRS 501(c)3 Not for Profit tax code, as permitted by law.

Your donations and the grants we receive contribute directly to our programs and initiatives.
